I feel very fortunate to be a dentist. Having practiced and taught for over 40 years, I still get excited to work and learn about all the new advances dentistry has to offer. I am dedicated to helping my patients achieve the best smiles of their lives. It is with complete confidence that I can tell new patients to our office that they will be treated by skilled hands and with genuine care. There are four other very qualified dentists working alongside me as well as numerous staff members who have been with me for over 20 years. They have become an extended family. I welcome and treat our patients with the hope that they will feel at home and part of our dental family.

Continuing Education and Professional Affiliations
I have always loved and valued education. Quality dentistry is my passion, and I feel the best way to provide this to my patients is through continuing education and involvement with other professionals. I am very fortunate to be joined by Drs. Klement, Jungman, Varga, and Halcomb at my practice; they are true professionals. I also take continuing education courses every year and have accepted leadership roles in many professional organizations. I have served as president of the Manatee Dental Society, Florida Dental Health Foundation, and the Florida Prosthodontic Association twice.
My first position after finishing my formal education was as a professor at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. I taught full-time for five years before moving to Bradenton and opening my practice. I have continued to love teaching and have taught as a visiting professor at the University of Florida Dental School Graduate Prosthodontics Department for 28 years. I also have a great appreciation for the written word. I have written numerous articles that have been published in portions of dentistry textbooks, and I have worked as an assistant editor to our State Dental Journal. I have served on the board of the American Cancer Society and have been involved in both the Suncoast Gerontology and the Society of Christians and Jews.
